Portobay Rio De Janeiro Hotel, Rio de Janeiro

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were comfortable and well-located for easy access to nearby places, but they didn't feel particularly clean. On the bright side, the room came with a fantastic bonus we didn't find in any other stay during our trip - a kettle with tea and coffee. The view of the beach was lovely despite being opposite some flats.

I had an amazing time at the hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking Copacabana, making it an excellent choice. Although our room wasn't ready until 2pm, which was expected, it was always clean as can be. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff setting up chairs, umbrellas, and towels, and even getting us drinks. The location, right on Copacabana Beach, was absolutely the best, only two blocks from Copacabana Palace. Dining was excellent, offering fresh fruits and local delicacies. Overall, a great stay with a few minor hiccups.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but had some noise from the main road below. The staff provided excellent recommendations for city tours and restaurants; however, my stay on the 7th floor was affected by maintenance works being held.

I was really looking forward to spacious rooms, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. On the bright side, I did have a room with a beautiful view and a balcony that allowed me to enjoy the heat. The old door key system was a bit inconvenient, though.

The service was exceptional, with helpful staff ready to assist with any questions. The location was fantastic, right in front of the beach, but some nearby prices were a bit high. The dining options were good but could be improved. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.
